Model history

The Phoenix Geep was a 7¼ inch gauge bogie locomotive with a roomy driving position, side access and space for additional batteries.

It formed part of Phoenix’s larger ride on range, developed around practical use on miniature railways.

The original photographs and product descriptions record the historical design. Contact MRW with enquiries about a surviving Geep.

From the original Phoenix catalogue

Phoenix described the Geep as a general-purpose design inspired by the American EMD GP family, with two low-profile power bogies, an iDrive controller, a front-bogie disc handbrake and driver access from the side.

This is an archived design description, not a current MRW specification or availability statement.
