MRW listing

Model history

Titan developed from a Project Loco owner’s request for two locomotives arranged with their cabs back to back, creating a centre cab bogie locomotive.

The 2018 catalogue described Titan 7 as bringing two Project Loco power units together on one chassis, supported by low profile bogies.

The Titan range also included a 5 inch version. MRW has separate product pages for the two gauges, with current specifications and options.

From the original Phoenix catalogue

The archived Titan kit description specifies two 24 V, 1 hp Bosch motors, chain drive to all four axles and a powder-coated all-steel body, with 5 inch and 7¼ inch versions recorded.

This is an archived design description, not a current MRW specification or availability statement.
