Design and history

Phoenix developed low profile power bogies to fit beneath miniature locomotives and trams, including the 7¼ inch gauge Titan and Geep.

The original design used a 750 W DC motor per powered bogie, chain drive, taper lock sprockets, self aligning roller bearings and spring suspension. Powered and unpowered versions were offered.

The photographs show earlier Phoenix equipment. MRW’s power bogie page provides information about the current design and available options.
